Designed around a responsive 140mm rear travel platform and paired with a 150mm suspension fork, the Current offers the ideal blend of comfort, traction, and trail-tuned performance. From technical singletrack and rocky climbs to flowing descents and long fire road missions, this electric mountain bike stays composed where it matters most—giving you a ride that feels smooth on the way up, stable on the way down, and confident everywhere in between.

At the heart of the Current is the all-new Aventon Ultro X mid-drive motor, delivering a natural-feeling pedal response and up to 110Nm of torque, with 120Nm in Boost Mode, for powerful support on steep climbs, loose terrain, and demanding all-day rides. With Ride Tune capability, three customizable pedal assist modes, plus Auto Mode and Boost Mode, the Ultro X adapts to your riding style and the terrain ahead—making every climb more manageable and every mile more rewarding.

Powering the intelligence behind the ride is the Aventon Control Unit (ACU), the command center of the Current and a key part of Aventon’s Smart Bike Ecosystem. Built specifically for eMTB performance and utility, the ACU goes beyond smart security with advanced trail-ready technology. Features like Anti-Wheelie help maintain front-end control and tire traction on steep climbs, while Jump Tracking captures airtime and jump metrics for progression-focused riders. Integrated GPS tracking records your rides and adds an extra layer of connectivity and peace of mind.
