Load Up On The Overall Aspects
Abound’s powerful rear hub motor hits 750W at a sustained performance, opening the possibility for more output, while RadWagon 4 hits optimal performance at the same wattage. There is a difference in PAS level, however if you look at the battery output you can see that Aventon’s fully integrated battery has more watt-hours. This, coupled with Abound’s torque sensor, allows for a longer riding range in comparison. The torque sensor offers riders more control over their riding experience because the sensor amplifies the rider’s natural efforts. The more energy they put into pedaling, the more the torque recognizes and assists.
In addition, the step-through frame and carrying capacity adds convenience and opportunity to accommodate all sorts of rider types. The suspension fork with 50mm of travel will add comfort wherever you go. Abound’s Full Color Display offers a wide range of metrics, including speed, PAS level and battery life as well as Aventon app syncing capabilities. The all-new turn signal functionality is the perfect safety feature to keep the rider noticed on the road and allows them to communicate to other motorists and cyclists.
Lastly, the price tag. When looking at these specifications, there’s an obvious reason why Abound costs more. The innovation and quality adds to the overall performance of the bike. With a difference of $200, Abound offers more carrying capacity, a natural feeling ride, and new technology that will get you where you’re going in style.
ELECTRICAL
The electrical aspects of an ebike is what gives them the power to move beyond that of your own efforts. They are the reason there is the added momentum behind each crank of the pedal to move faster and farther than ever before. With the added weight for all your hauling needs, these specs will give better insight into how to gauge the performance of the bike.

Go The Distance With Everything In Tow
Abound’s powerful 750W motor paired with a 720Wh battery, is unmatched by the RadWagon 4’s 750W motor and 672 Wh battery. While a more powerful motor might drain the battery quicker, the addition of a torque sensor makes Abound a top competitor. The torque sensor activates only by registering the rider’s efforts and then matching it, as opposed to cadence that automatically produces a prescribed amount of power. This means with torque the rider has more control over conserving battery life and extending riding range, making Abound a top competitor. When going the distance, Abound has what it takes to move you and all your precious cargo, wherever it is you’re going.
The Full Color Display that offers vital metrics and app syncing capabilities, as well as the hidden USB import that allows riders to charge their smartphones while they ride. The integrated lights allow riders to see and be seen on the road, while the all-new turn signal functionality protects riders when they’re making moves by signaling to other cyclists and motorists. At Aventon we want to make sure our riders get the most out of their riding experience, and the new technology says it all.
MECHANICS
Beyond the electrical aspects, there is the mechanical that can ensure a more comfortable ride. Long hauls, quick stops, and a heavy load will surely put these ebikes to the test.

170mm Chain Pulley |
Most bikes’ derailleurs already have tensioners that work for normal chain lengths. However, bikes with a longer wheelbase and longer chains need the extra support. The chain pulley ensures the chain won’t hit the bike frame, as well as maintains slack while shifting to make sure you ride smoothly every time. |
Mechanisms With You In Mind
There’s no contest when it comes to the suspension fork. Abound has up to 50 mm of travel, meaning there’s more comfort everytime you ride. While hydraulic brakes and mechanical brakes both get the job done, hydraulic brakes tend to have higher braking power, promoting smoother, more controlled stopping.
PHYSICAL
When it comes to the physical aspects of an ebike, it’s about features and what the bike is capable of doing, and for whom. In regards to cargo, the weight capacity and accessibility play a large role. The more size options, the more there is an opportunity for more riders. Let’s see how these bikes size up.

Built For The Long Haul
We know that one size certainly does not fit all. However, there are ways to make one-size adjustable and accessible to more types of riders. For example, Abound's step-through frame makes it easier to slip into the saddle without much effort. This, plus the all-new dropper seatpost, lets you glide the seat up and down while riding to find the most comfortable riding position. The size scale between the two bikes is rather similar. However, with the dropper seatpost, Abound has four more inches to play with for shorter riders. Abound may be four more pounds heavier, but when you consider the 90 more pounds in its weight capacity, you can see why. Also, the footboards offer passengers to ride comfortably while resting their legs out of harm’s way. The durable, sleek frame with a fully integrated battery can carry the load and look good doing it.
RACK IT, STACK IT, AND HIT THE ROAD
We believe that Abound’s superior design, componentry and all-around performance makes it the better bike to take on all your cargo needs. Its powerful motor, higher weight capacity, versatility size, frame design and its rear rack capabilities ensures that it offers more opportunity to take everything you need wherever you plan on going. The torque sensor provides optimal control over battery life, longer riding range, and overall riding experience. Add in top speed, footboards, the all-new turn signal functionality, its sleek look and integrated powerful battery, and Full Color Display with app syncing capabilities and it’s easy to see which bike you’ll be riding for the long haul.
